I recently had a startling epiphany! In all the years I’ve been blogging, I’ve never written about properties and homes currently on the LCT roster. This seems like quite the oversight, especially because I’ve been privileged to help friends sell some truly incredible homes over the years! I’m going to rectify this mistake right this very second by introducing you to an absolutely gorgeous home in a picture-perfect community in the heart of my very own hometown of Franklin, TN.
Readers, meet 108 Patricia Lee Court. Located in Carolina Close – an exclusive and luxury neighborhood tucked back in a private enclave behind Battle Ground Academy – this home is 100% magazine worthy! Ya’ll… the mudroom (with high-tech charging stations and mail drop) and the four-car garage are nicer than most people’s entire homes, but just a drop in the bucket of the awesomeness that permeates this stunning six-thousand (plus) square foot manor. Don’t be fooled by the “manor” moniker, though… this home is incredibly elegant to be sure, but it’s also loaded with homey touches and feels amazingly cozy. And talk about curb appeal!!! Painted white brick, dark gray shutters, a bright red door and a storybook front porch gives the home a classic Cape Cod appeal and though it would be a perfect addition to the east coast beach front, I’m delighted that it graces the hills of Williamson County.
Inside, the home is pure perfection. This isn’t Realtor-speak, friends. It’s the absolute, unvarnished truth. The main floor boasts a formal living room (with a to-die-for coffered ceiling), formal dining room and gracious foyer. Beyond that a swoon-worthy great room with vaulted ceilings and ventless fireplace flanked by built in shelves opens to one-of-a-kind gourmet kitchen. Seriously. ONE OF A KIND. They had me at the upholstered, tufted built-in banquet that creates a delineation between the family room and kitchen and provides comfy, yet luxurious seating at the kitchen table. Then, of course, there’s miles of leathered granite countertops and white cabinetry, custom lighting and state of the art stainless steel appliances. A sweet desk area with contrasting cabinetry painted in Dorian gray completes the kitchen and honestly, I could just live there. But then I’d be missing the out-of-this-world master suite and spa-like bathroom, the wine room with storage for 122 bottles of your favorite vino, as well as two additional main-level en-suite bedrooms. On the upper level, this home boasts a rec room (though that designation isn’t quite distinguished enough for a room that features a splendid wet bar and installed audio system) and a theatre room that puts our local multi-plex to shame! Two additional bedrooms and a bonus room (or sixth bedroom) round out the upper level living spaces.
Obviously, this home was meant to be shared with loved ones to be sure, but also with friends near and far. It’s an entertainer’s dream, especially when you consider the spectacular backyard with a saltwater pool with in-wall fountains surrounded by a self-cleaning pebble-flooring sundeck. Two cabana areas and a private-poolside powder room promise long sunny days spent relaxing with your very favorite people! Additionally, a stunning covered porch with fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and gorgeous brick fireplace means that one very lucky new homeowner will enjoy the best of Franklin’s outdoor living, almost year-round.
This home is offered at $2,398,000 and while I know that’s hardly pocket change, I promise it is worth every penny. Still not convinced? Then give me a call and we’ll schedule a time for you to tour this outstanding property that puts the “dream” in dream home!
