“It’s like living in a postcard,” Suzanne Immerfall said about her new home.

Lisa Culp Taylor of the LCT Team has recently been working with Garden Gate Homes – selling some of their latest builds – and says that homes with historically accurate designs are becoming increasingly popular.
“Tucked in among native trees, the home looks like it’s been there forever,” said Lisa. “They are really investing in the downtown area.”

“For a year, we looked all over, but when push came to shove we decided to stay,” said Suzanne. “We love downtown Franklin, the sense of community, being able to walk to dinner.”
The Immerfall’s previously lived in a home built in the 1950s, so they were looking for something that would be more reliable, but in the same area as their old home with the same historic flair. Their new home has the historic feel they wanted, but has many modern qualities such as an open floor plan, a “man cave” for Mark, and a proper studio for Suzanne, a professional artist.
