Hermitage is a community named after its primary landmark: Andrew Jackson’s former home, called The Hermitage. It’s located on the northeast side of Nashville, is incorporated as part of the Metro Nashville area – but it retains its own distinct character. The community is located just off I-40 and sits between the expressway and the Cumberland River.
