Based out of Franklin, Tennessee, Caren grew up in New York’s Westchester County and earned a marketing degree from Pace University. After college, she was constantly on the move for seventeen years due to corporate transfers and earned a bonus if the home sold quickly. This motivation was part of the inspiration for starting her own company as Caren saw how effective it was to prepare a home in its best light while appealing to the greatest number of potential buyers.
“Another thing I realized as I recreated home with each move was how my surroundings and home environment significantly impacted my overall mood and mental outlook. This realization really sparked my interest in design and grew into a passion which started Savvy Home Staging,” Caren explained.
Her style today focuses on creating inviting spaces that are spacious, desirable and stylish with the goal of igniting an emotional connection with potential buyers. “I want the buyer to say, ‘wow, I can see myself living there!” she said.
Peace of Mind During Home Selling Process

One of Caren’s best pro tip and biggest mistake she sees people making is not updating a paint color which she says is an easy fix.
“Paint color can make a world of difference. We like to create neutral canvases and some of my favorite paint colors are soft whites like Sherwin Williams Alabaster or Creamy, soft whites,” she said. “Whites are on trend and help freshen a home making it look and feel newer and cleaner.”
